Butterflies in Bloom (Early Literacy Program) Ages 3-6

At Krambrooke we call our early literacy program Butterflies in Bloom. Butterflies is a class designed to help your child strengthen the skills they need to be successful in all language arts subject areas once they reach elementary school. Research confirms that early phonetic awareness, taught as little as two hours per week, can greatly increase overall reading accuracy and fluency.

Each lesson features phonics, sight words, language development, handwriting, and reading comprehension. We teach these important reading topics using various tools such as The Orton-Gillingham Approach to Reading, D'Nealian handwriting practice, leveled reading activities, and hands on learning.
