School Hours

Full Day: 8:45 am to 4:00 pm

Half Day: 8:45 am to 12:00 pm

Students who arrive after 8:55 am will be marked tardy.

Lunch: 12:15 pm

Junior Kindergarten/Kindergarten Recess: 11:45 am (First Playground) and 2:45 pm (First Playground)

First Grade through Eighth Grade Recess:  11:45 am (Second Playground)

Drop Off: Students may be dropped off no earlier than 8:30 am. Weather permitting, students will line up on the playground. During inclement weather, students will line up in the gym.

Pick Up: Students in grades JK-3 will be dismissed from the playground. Students in grades 4-8 will be dismissed from the front sidewalk. Students who are not picked up by 4:10 pm will be sent to the childcare building for latchkey.

School Closings: School closing information can be found by watching Channel 4 News, or clicking on www.clickondetroit.com. We will be listed as Krambrooke Griffin Academy. Channel 4 also offers the option of signing up for text messages when school is closed.
